Redder? More like Epilepticker

I played the whole game through, I must say the puzzle are challenging. Sadly, I didn't find any secret area, and now that my scren is bland from collecting all the gems, I don't feel like searching for it.... I must admit that sometimes the hugeness of it made me want to quit, it became boring to collect these gems and some parts were frustrating, but otherwise it's a pretty well constructed map and game, simple, you never get totally blocked and can explore elsewhere. The "glitchy" progression becomes annoying at some point, because when you try to figure the already Hard gems, you can't see shit. But the return to the ship when you got all 27 gems is pretty clever.

Congratulations, I think you deserve frontpage. Sure, it does not suit every players, but it is a number one in its category!

I agree with Whiscash

The hit detection is aweful, and the controls are not always helping. Avoiding become frustrating and timing becomes sheer luck or split-second calculated moves issued from a good fifty death at the same spot. It is addictive, I'm actually on the last level, and I really like it, it is a great game, BUT! the thing is that sometimes, you know what to do, you get the pattern, but doing it is something else with the hit detection and all. It's harder to do it than to think of it. It's frustrating to repete over and over the same passage you just did right without being able to practice the last bit of the level, so when you reach the last obstacle, about once in a hundred tries, you can't figure what to do and get killed.

Anyway, I thought it was a really good game with some small disagreements that threw the frustration over the agressively-annoying line.

Nice game

Quite enjoyable shooter. Sometimes frustrating, but the side missions eased that frustration. Different ways to gain XP was nice and balancing your mech's attribute was really convenient. There are some typos in the dialogues sometimes, but nothing really shocking ;)
Yeah, medals for Boss Run and Game Completed didn't work yet for me, but I wait for that :)

Hats off to you guys from Quebec who create pretty nice games! :) Hope you make another one!

Damn boring

I didn't like it. You couldn't pause during the tutorial or review the last directions, so I didn't know what to do, and even if I did get how to rescue the cat, it was glitched beneath a tree branch. It seemed boring as hell. nice arts, but nothing more.

Boarf

Impressive graphics, music's okay (I hate the damn loop + you can't mute the annoying repetitive music), gameplay is somewhat orginal, but the overall experience was very mediocre for me. The perspectives are really hard to visualize since the screen is so narrow, the graphics are unecesarily heavy and huge and I don't know..... all the overlapping just fucked up my sense: I really didn't feel like advancing, I didn't feel the character following much my mouse, M-Bot just seemed to be slow.... you could had a keyboard movement system or something...
You could hardly concentrate on something like juggling since there are so much shit happening on the screen. The "one hit and you lose your upgrades" kinda sucked, especially with the landmines and the walls that you must crack. These were real motherfuckers with the gameplay.

Also, I hated the boss... first time, he killed me as I killed him.... he won over nonetheless. That's okay, my bad. Second time, I got my upgrade to beat his arse. It just froze. Your game's glitchy as well. Wow.

What's good about this one is that it is a new, or at least less popularized concept. your graphics are pretty great, but the visuals appeared to me like they were going to get out of fashion quickly... that kind of 3D effects get old really fast, I would have stuck with less flashy graphics. but anyway, it is a fast pace shooter and that gets you the passing grade. You could have done better though, i know you're a great artist.

Neat

the-goatman is perfectly right: if you got your inspiration from "Company of Myself" which is higly probable, you should at least mention it, so stupid people wouldn't annoy you with the "RIP-OFF!" argument. I think it had flaws, like any game have, but if we forget the two last points, it is absolutely a good game. I didn't feel like playing it much, but it sure seems to be a lot of work to do it this way: you made a game edible for frontpage, in my opinion, and you deserve it more than much of the other frontpagers....

You'd waste talent by not making games anymore. Just don't be a sissy about it, because the world is always full of criticism, and if you can't bear with it, you'll have a hard time. Not everybody fully appreciate art, and you can't blame them. Good luck with your future work!

Average

Bad points : Killed unexpectedly too in the cave. That is stupid, restarting from the beginning like that. It's a damn point and click.... Anyway.... Direction arrows are not always obvious to get, it's frustrating to be stuck just because you didn't pass your cursor around the entire screen.

Then, I must say your voice acting is horrible. Really horrible. I mean, it's usually superficial stuff, but it really got to me this bad. I hate it. That and the lesbians. What the fuck was that part? I thought it was totally irrellevant.

Now, the good points: you have always these nice graphics, altough you're better at drawing stickmen. Then the ambiance is kinda good, the atmosphere of the snowy forests is pretty well done. Your menus and all are really well designed.

I enjoy point and click, but that was pretty lame for me. I mentioned the points that ruined it all.

Yup, still freezes

And it pisses the shit out of me. I mean, come on, I got 100% on ennemies and gold, and it just freezes? I hope you can solve that soon, I'd like to get these medals!

The game itself is pretty good, retro, simple, a bit hard with the controls sometimes, and graphics ARE not so awesome (although intentionaly in like 8 bit), I'm glad you have sound options because that's what games often lack.

if not for the bug it could be ten out of ten, maybe add to that the lack of appealing colors (at least to me) and that's were you lost points.

Nice little game

It's far from bad, I really like it, but it's kinda hard. Not exactly challenging, yet doable, but what bugs me is the zombies that rush at you from behind: you can't kill them if they are right next to you (maybe if you have the crowbar) so you have to do a perilous detour above or under him to get to him, but being already surrounded, it means death.

3 chances? Not much, if you want my point of view.

And when you die, it would be nice to have the option to change weapon, because if I pick up bad ones and die, I'm stuck with them forever.

Sad it is

Controls ARE original. But they suck all the same. It's really awkard to use them and we don't get used to them quickly enough to get into the game. It's a nice attempt, and maybe you can do something out of it, I don't know, maybe your character could FOLLOW the mouse, at least you could get back. I know it's supposed to be a concept, you probably thought about all of those things I say, I don't mean to insult your intelligence sir, but maybe you made the wrong decision about the gameplay,

Otherwise, quite nice arts and music and all.
